The Journal of Croatian Studies is the only English language scholarly journal dedicated to the study of Croatian history and culture. It has been published annually since 1960 by the Croatian Academy of America.

Volume 34-35 has just been published. The 327 page volume contains, among other things, articles by Ivan Cizmic (on the Croatian Fraternal Union), Ante Kadic (the discovery of America in Croatian literature), a review of Croats in the US as per the 1990 census, an article by Stephen Schwartz of the SF Examiner on Ante Ciliga, review articles by Branka Magas (on Warren Zimmermann's memoirs) and Noel Malcolm (on David Owen's memoirs), three articles on Croatian music history, an article on the Croatian coat of arms and more.
