NEW YORK, NY - The
Journal of Croatian Studies, the Annual Review of the Croatian Academy of
America vol. 34-35 was published in August 1997. Both editors of the
Journal, Karlo Mirth and Jerome Jareb are also members of the Croatian
Fraternal Union of America. This 328-page double issue edited by Karlo
Mirth contains articles on a variety of subjects including Croatian
cultural and political history, articles on Croatian Americans, including
Croatian Fraternal Union members, numerous book reviews and reports on the
activities of the Academy. A scholarly publication, indexed by major
bibliographic services, the Journal enjoys high reputation in academic
circles. Among its subscribers are major U.S. and Canadian college and
university libraries as well as many overseas.
